Local Farms. Real Impact. Stronger Communities.
The Davidson County Local Food Network continues to strengthen the connection between local farms, food access, and community education across Davidson County and surrounding areas. Through collaborative partnerships and grassroots programs, DCLFN is helping create a more sustainable and accessible local food system that directly supports farmers, families, and the regional economy.
In 2025, DCLFN supported 17 participating farms through food access programs, distributing 795 food boxes across 13 distribution sites and generating more than $75,000 in income for local farmers. Retail and wholesale initiatives further expanded market opportunities for producers, contributing over $75,000 in combined farmer income through local sales and partnerships.
Beyond economic impact, DCLFN continues to invest in education and community engagement. Over 20 educational events and activities reached more than 430 consumers while supporting 44 farmers and stakeholders and assisting more than 20 producers. Community-focused initiatives such as the annual farm tour welcomed 215 attendees, helping connect residents directly with local agriculture and the people behind their food.
By building partnerships with nonprofits, healthcare organizations, food access programs, and community groups, DCLFN remains committed to improving food security, supporting small farms, and expanding access to fresh, locally produced food throughout the region.
