Home Flock Series: Processing Eggs and Broilers

Are you interested in raising backyard chickens for meat, eggs, or both? The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Davidson County Center is hosting a five-week series for beginners online through Zoom. The series will begin April 8, 2020 and continues until May 6, 2020. You may attend all five or select the workshops that interest you.

  • April 8 - Breeds and Brooding

  • April 15 – Housing & Laws/Ordinances

  • April 22 – Nutrition

  • April 29 – Health

  • May 6 – Processing:  Eggs & Broilers
