Buying Local with Confidence Workshop

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council, in collaboration with Stasia Greenewalt of SG Farm Services, is hosting an upcoming workshop as part of the Growing Food Finance Technical Assistance Hub.

Buying Local with Confidence is designed for Piedmont Triad food retailers, including grocery stores, corner stores, cooperatives, farm stores, food hubs, mobile markets, and others interested in sourcing local food.

Participants will learn practical strategies for safely purchasing from local farms, developing effective sourcing plans, and creating vendor agreements that support strong relationships between retailers and local producers.

All Triad registrants will also have the opportunity to request complimentary 1:1 technical assistance support with SG Farm Services following the workshop.
