How to Become an NRCS Technical Service Provider, Part 1: Requirements, Training, and Conservation Planning Basics
July 29 | 4-5pm | Virtual | FREE
This free training, the first in a two-part series, is for agricultural professionals interested in becoming certified NRCS Technical Service Providers (TSPs) for farm conservation planning. TSPs are third-party contractors who develop NRCS-funded conservation plans that help farmers protect and improve natural resources on working farms.
In this 60-minute webinar, we will cover the background, training, and certification requirements needed to become a TSP, followed by an introduction to the NRCS conservation planning process. The webinar will focus on certification for Organic Transition conservation plans (CPA 138 and DIA 140), but will also be relevant to other farm conservation planning categories.
