Crossings Farm

Located in Lexington, North Carolina, Crossings Farm is a beyond-organic family farm dedicated to producing healthy, nutrient-rich food while caring for the land that has been part of the family’s story for more than 200 years. Guided by the belief that healthy soil, healthy animals, and healthy communities go hand in hand, the farm raises pastured chicken, woodlot pork, 100% grass-fed beef, seasonal vegetables, honey, and prepared foods for local families.

The farm's roots trace back to the late 1700s, when David Myers purchased several hundred acres in what would become the Reeds community. Generations of farmers and stewards have cared for the land ever since, preserving its agricultural heritage while adapting to meet the needs of each new generation. Today, Crossings Farm remains a working family farm where tradition, conservation, and sustainable agriculture continue to thrive.

Owned and operated by Ben and Jennifer Myers and their family, Crossings Farm follows regenerative and beyond-organic farming practices inspired by leaders such as Joel Salatin, Wendell Berry, and Gene Logsdon. Livestock are humanely raised on pasture without routine antibiotics, added hormones, or unnecessary chemicals, allowing animals to express their natural behaviors while producing flavorful, high-quality meat. The farm's commitment to responsible land stewardship helps improve soil health, protect natural resources, and create a sustainable future for generations to come.

Crossings Farm's motto, "Bringing family, farming, and community together," reflects the heart of everything they do. Family members work side by side in the daily operations of the farm, from caring for livestock and harvesting produce to connecting directly with customers at local farmers markets. Their mission extends beyond food production, fostering meaningful relationships between farmers and consumers while strengthening the local food system.

Every product grown and raised at Crossings Farm reflects a dedication to quality, transparency, and community. Through sustainable farming practices and a deep respect for the land, the Myers family continues a legacy of providing wholesome food that nourishes both people and the environment.
